A happy class after a sponsored visit to Wellington

As a part of the social outreach programme of Walk Wellington, arrangements were made for a class of 11 and 12 year old children from Titahi Bay North School to visit Wellington City.

They enjoyed going to the He Tohu exhibition at the National Library, viewing Wellington from the top of Wellington's highest building, the Majestic Centre, and also seeing interesting exhibits in the Museum of Wellington. For many of the children it was a first time to these interesting attractions.

The report from the school is available here

Thanks are due to our guides Gavin, Stella and Gerald for making this event such a success.
